The Bedford Area Development Center is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization. Its governing Board of Directors is comprised of business people and community leaders in the Bedford area.

WHAT WE DO:
The Bedford Area Development Center serves as the main clearinghouse of information and point of contact regarding economic development in the Bedford area. We provides data regarding business start-ups and expansions, potential site locations, availability of state, local and federal expansion assistance, workforce development information, utility and infrastructure data and general quality of life information.
OUR VISION:
The Bedford Area Development Center will serve as the link between our past and present to build a prosperous future for everyone to live, work and play.
OUR MISSION:
We will accomplish our vision by preserving the distoric presence in our community while actively promoting the collective visions or our residents with emphasis on commercial, civic, cultural, and educational interests in order to strive toward a strong and progressive future, while maintaining our small town, rural flavor.
OUR GOALS:
We will accomplish our mission by focusing our efforts on the principles of measured progress, quality service, developing partnerships, changing attitudes and using our existing assets by focusing the spirit of volunteerism all while working from the Main Street Four Point Approach of Business Improvement, Design, Organization and Promotion.
