“Providing each student a quality education through programs, opportunities, and experiences to become productive citizens and life-long learners” is a quote best describing Bedford Community School District.
Bedford Community School offers many different aspects to its students.  The Bedford Community School District consists of an elementary, a middle school, and a high school.  The elementary is composed of PreK-5th grade.  Each grade level consists of two sections offering more one on one teacher-student interaction.  The middle school is made up of grades six through eight.  The middle school is the preparation stage for high school.  The high school includes grades nine through twelve.  Both the middle school and high school have teachers that specialize in a certain area to better educate students. Bedford Community School District also houses the Little Dawgs Head Start.  The Little Dawgs Head Start is located on the Bedford Community School grounds.
Bedford Community School District takes pride in employing only the best educators.  BCS teachers and staff assist students in meeting educational goals and providing a quality well-rounded program that is embedded in a rigorous standard curriculum.  They also push each student to their highest potential and to strive towards their aspirations.  Bedford Community High School offers a variety of academic options ranging from a cluster of sequential vocational units to a full selection of college preparation classes.  BCHS students annually receive excellent marks on the ACT scoring higher than the national rank.  An average of sixty percent of all students goes on to purse post-secondary education.

The high school is very well known for their fine arts and for their athletics.  The BCHS competes in state competition every year in band and choir.  Each year they are highly praised for their participants, and receive high marks.  BCHS athletics are recognized state wide, which includes football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, wrestling, golf, track, softball, baseball, and cheerleading.  Many athletes go on to compete at collegiate levels and gain much recognition.  The athletic teams have also participated in many state competitions, holding records and championship titles.
