The Court Street Mural is a beautiful, very real looking portrayal of a busy Court Street from Bedford’s past.  The mural was painted by experienced artist, Kelly Poling.  The mural depicts an old fashioned street scene when all the farmers came to town to do their weekly shopping and other activity typical on a Saturday night in Bedford. The mural was established to instill the residents’ pride and hope in the future of their community, to let others know what life in a small town is all about, and the advantages available to young families to raise their children where they can be safe.  The mural received honorable mention award in the design category of “best public improvements project-streetscape/enhancement project through the Main Street Program.
